Smile Concept - Cursus Paro-implant.

L’obiettivo di questo corso è fornire ai partecipanti le basi biologiche e cliniche per la pianificazione e l’esecuzione del piano terapeutico del paziente parodontale e/o implantare attraverso un moderno approccio razionale basato sull’evidenza scientifica.

Verrà dato ampio spazio alla progettazione ragionata del piano di trattamento, in modo tale che il corsista possa acquisire tutti gli strumenti idonei per poter affrontare con serenità e sufficiente sicurezza anche i piani terapeutici più complessi, individuando quali sono i fattori di rischio da tenere in considerazione e stabilendo anticipatamente la prognosi a lungo termine del trattamento prescelto.
In un contesto informale e di discussione interattiva i relatori saranno a disposizione dei partecipanti e li guideranno step by step attraverso i vari moduli didattici con l’ausilio di presentazioni multimediali, video commentati e sessioni hands-on su simulatori e modelli animali.

In questo corso annuale, un Master a tutti gli effetti, i partecipanti avranno la possibilità di modificare il loro “modus operandi”, sviluppando piani di trattamento innovativi per curare i propri pazienti. Particolare attenzione verrà data alla chirurgia parodontale, a quella rigenerativa ed a quella mucogengivale, descritte nelle metodiche 'step-by-step' con video ed illustrazioni.
Il filo conduttore di tutto il corso sarà, come sempre, la clinica. Per questo motivo i partecipanti avranno la possibilità di affiancare il Prof. Cardaropoli ed il suo team nella loro attività clinica in modo da poter assistere da vicino ed apprendere il loro approccio al paziente.

Guided bone regeneration (GBR) is one of the most common surgical methods employed for reconstructing alveolar bone, including repair of alveolar ridge defects and peri-implant bone deficiencies. The efficacy and long-term success of GBR is well documented, with evidence that long-term survival rates of implants placed in GBR augmented sites being similar to those of implants placed in non-augmented sites. A number of biological, surgical, and prosthetic factors must be carefully considered in order to consistently ensure this efficacy and long-term success.

The success rate of an implant is highly influenced by the positioning and the surrounding tissues. Contemporary implant treatment planning involves backward planning; successful rehabilitation necessitates the presence of sufficient hard and soft tissues at the desired implant site. The loss of a tooth however, often results in significant resorption of the ridge with loss of both bone and soft tissue volume. Rebuilding the alveolar ridge can be a challenge, so avoiding the loss makes the subsequent treatment easier. Ridge preservation techniques have been in use for more than 15 years and offer predictable and easy ways to avoid the loss of valuable tissues. To ensure successful outcomes, certain factors have to be taken into account to reduce complications and maximise preservation of bone volume. Depending on the clinical situation encountered, ridge preservation can sometimes morph into a guided bone regeneration (GBR) procedure. It is therefore important that the clinician is able to successfully employ GBR techniques if required....
